Equations Library
The Equations Library indexes every named equation and physical law covered by The Physics Codex, each with a full derivation from first principles, a variable table with SI units, conditions of validity, and worked examples.
How equation pages are built
Every equation page in this library follows the same ten-part structure: canonical definition, the equation itself, a variable table, conditions of validity, a full step-by-step derivation with no skipped steps, at least two worked examples, an interactive calculator where applicable, a historical note on origin and original publication, links to related equations, and primary sources with DOI where available.
Classical Mechanics
- Newton's Second Law (F = ma) [DONE — Session 03 — 2026-07-05]
Electromagnetism
- Maxwell's Equations [DONE — Session 03 — 2026-07-05]
Quantum Mechanics
- Schrödinger Equation [DONE — Session 03 — 2026-07-05]
567 further named equations remain [PENDING FULL ENTRY] and will be added domain-by-domain as each classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, quantum, relativity, and particle physics session is built. See the Physics Codex home page for the full domain list and build order.
