Star Atlas is an ambitious space-exploration MMO built on Solana using Unreal Engine 5, with two tokens — ATLAS (in-game currency) and POLIS (governance/DAO) — and a player-owned economy where ships, crew, and land are NFTs traded on the in-game marketplace.
Two-token economy
ATLAS is the play-to-earn in-game currency used for all transactions within Star Atlas. POLIS is the governance token controlling the Star Atlas DAO and metaverse political structure. The game features three factions — MUD (humans), ONI (alien coalition), and USTUR (sentient androids) — each competing for galactic territory in a player-driven economy.
Is ATLAS legal in India?
Yes. Both ATLAS and POLIS are VDAs. 30% tax and 1% TDS apply.
